Clare Grant first appeared on film, opposite Joaquin Phoenix, in a small, but pivotal role in the Academy-winning film, Walk the Line (2005), while still earning her theater degree in Memphis, TN, where she grew up. She followed up with Black Snake Moan (2006), and later as the lead in the MTV series, $5 Cover (2009). After moving to LA, she landed a leading role on the Emmy- winning Showtime series, Masters of Horror followed by several film, television and voice-over roles. She was seen most recently as a guest star on the TV Series Castle. As a producer, Clare co-created and starred in the short film, Saber (2009), which won two Lucas-Film Fan Film Awards for Best Action and Audience Choice.


A News Anchor, Reporter and Producer at the Number One Station in the 18th Largest TV Market in the US since 2003. He’s been honored with numerous awards: 7 Emmys, 2 Associated Press awards, a Green Eyeshade award, and more than a dozen other awards from the Society of Professional Journalists. Steve also has entertainment experience appearing as David Lee Roth in the successful Van Halen tribute band called “1984” which has performed at the House of Blues and other large live venue clubs.

Confessions of a Producer is written and produced by Jim Lewis and his production company Communications Concepts, Inc. (CCI). This is the same production team that successfully produced “ONE GIANT LEAP 50 Years of the American Space Program”, “Skating’s Next Star” and “Great American Car War”.

Jim Lewis

Writer / Producer

Jim Lewis is an American television and film producer, responsible for shows such as The Great American Car War, Skating's Next Star and more. He also has produced numerous documentaries and documentary series including; ONE GIANT LEAP, America's Animal Astronaut Heroes, Untold Stories from the Rocket Ranch and others. He served as line producer for the feature film Space Brothers and he was part of a team that won a regional Emmy for live mission coverage of STS-95 John Glenn Space Shuttle Launch. He has a number of writing credits ranging from documentary films to feature films to entertainment television series.

Bill Williams

Bill Williams is extensive experience working on documentary and entertainment films and videos. Bill is known for his keen eye, creative approach and attention to detail. He has served as DP on “Scary Stories for Kids” that is currently available on Netflix, the documentary film “Thrust into Space” (1999) and others. Indie Film projects have included A(t)tempting escape, Hindsight, Have We Met? , Time Served, Hoity Toity, and Titanic Proportions.

Matt Goldschmidt


Matt Goldschmidt is an experienced and knowledgeable video editor that has created hours of long/short format programing. He has over 256 logged and credited hours as a broadcast producer/editor on shows for E!, MTV, MTV2, FS, Fox, Sunshine, Velocity, Spike, ESPN, ESPN2, Speed, Speed Vision, Outdoor Channel, Pursuit Network, Sportsman’s Channel, Golf Channel, Nickelodeon, Disney, Universal, Monster Supercross, Discovery Channel, and NASCAR. Matt was the finishing editor for Great American Car War.
